Substitute Teachers and Substitute Teacher Assistants throughout the Broward County Public School
District.

Responsibilities:
- Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school
rules, and Kelly policies.
This includes:
- Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans.
- Assigning reasonable tasks
- Motivate students to learn and encourage classroom participation.
- Adapt to the various learning styles of students.
Minimum requirements:
- A substitute teacher must have at least 60 college credits
- All candidates must be comfortable working with a computer-based scheduling system.
- Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal communication skills
